more stuff

I guess I have now made enough birthday cards for my mother

These are the last ones, but I guess - knowing her -  she probably needs much more christmas Cards.

So while I go back to the christmas stuff, you might like to see another piece of the altered cardboard which now decorates my sleeping room

it´s a long but not very wide piece as you can see

in Detail

Stamps used are from Stampington (Claudine Hellmut) and Dylusions.

And yes, I love these houses:)

more cards

With the 1st of September coming nearer and nearer I want to show you what I have already finished for my mother:

These were really quick and easy using up some papers

just in case you are wondering: my mother loved the little houses last year.....

And going through my stash I found some tags from crafty individuals which I used as the base for the next 3 Cards. One has to try new styles once in a while so here we go

(you can see the wind blowing-LOL)

...and a great chance to use up some bling and embellishments :)

Off to make some more Cards....

birthday productions part 1

I´m in the middle of making Cards for my mother´s birthday. No, not for her, but cards she can sent out to her friends.

So here´s the first part with 2 birthday Cards, using up some of my supplies. Have to say it, I am a little bit out of practice, took ages to get these two finished

protege mis suenos - protect my dreams

My daughter is now the proud owner of a new desk for her room and I decided to upcycle some of the packaging for my sleeping room

you can see the huge packing board best here:

the face is a digital Image from deviantscrap, stamps used are from de Stempelwinkel (numbers) and handcarved.
The wings were made with a sizzix die by Tim Holtz

the secret

This journaling page started out as a try in a new aquarell technic, cheating a little bit by using masking fluid to get squares. It did not look the way I had wanted, nevertheless I liked it as a Background.
Then I used a face stencil and ruined everything with my background around it - ggrrhh :(
I cut her out and here´s the end result

stamps used are handcarved.

you are strong

with the weather really nice but no longer so hot that I feel like melting I feel inspired and active again and decided to make another journaling page.

I kept it quite simple or emptier than usually because on these rough days I guess we all feel exhaused and empty, or better said without any more energy.

stamps used are handcarved apart from the texts (7 Gypsies)

hope you all have a great start into the week

time for a new challange at the altered eclectics - teacandle holder

I have bought this - let´s be honest - ugly but cheap candle holder, already with the idea of altering it

and after a lot of layering with tissue, colours and using up some of my metal stuff I have been hording for quite a while, here´s what I came up with

so let´s burn some candles without burning down the house :)
