Sailing Halloween

I had some much fun altering that "paper easter egg" into a Halloween boat. Images are all from the octopode factory. The bat wings are a spellbinder die. The mast is a huge bone.
Hope you like it.

get well - mixed media canvas

Now comes the times of colds, fiebre and other illnesses that usually leave us with a red nose like some famous rendeer.
So I used up parts of an expired first aid kit and here we go

I used my distress markers for the first time and I love the result (the bottles were made using them). I only have a few but I really like the result.

So to everyone who is ill outside here, get well - that is for you.

altered book Halloween

this is a book I made a while ago. But with Halloween coming I thought I show you

the front

the back ("painting very shabby in silver and using very thin watery black acrylic as a 2nd coat)

the inside

in detail

It was a lot of fun altering that book and making it into a kind of shrine. It now decorates my entrance with a big skull to keep it open...

fridge magnets

One of the topics at de Stempelwinkel for this month is home deco.  Having found some great but boring fridge magnets at Ikea I could not withstand to alter them.
As the magnets are curved I stamped on tissue paper, coloured with my copic markers and glued it down with mod podge. All stamps from de Stempelwinkel

Halloween wreath and tin

Once there was a witch who found a stryrofoam ring. She said Abrakadaba and there it was - a door sigh worthy for the witch

Altering some old fish tins that have been around for a while - unused - I made a little halloween tin for de stempelwinkel

Information concerning the stamps as usually here:

the stampers´sampler

I had heart from several people that I was published with some card projects but until today these were just rumours for me - until today when I´ve go the issue in my own hands:

I have already shown you the sneak peak for my "mother earth"

and here come the rest of my christmas cards

mine are on the right.

I have to admit it: I love to see my artwork published.
Hope you all have a great day, hugs (from a very happy crafter)
