Moo hats

Playing around with the new distress paints and some other fluid acrylics here´s what I came up with for the latest moo challange

 

The stamp was a freebie from a stamping magazine. dusting away unused and being very sad about it, so I had to give the stamp a chance.

 

Yes I know it is quite colourful - needed a contrast to the white outside

Isn´t it great to be waked up at 6.30 am on a Sunday morning by snowplows :)

journaling page week 12

This week came my new favourite stamp from dark room door and I had to use it (yes, sometimes I am like a little child :) ) and here´s what I made

I distressed and dylusioned the background and used some old Tim Holtz stencils - filling them with black acrylic colours. The funny guy was stamped separetly and adhered with gluestick - like the postage stamps.
The embossing folder is by Tim Holtz as well.

it´s always good to come home

I do not know about you, but I love to come home - no matter how great the trip was.

Being around my own things - having a kitchen where to cook my daugher´s favourite meal (pasta with ham) and eating real good bread (sorry my foreign readers, I have to say it, but the German bread is something I miss most when I am abroad).

Now let me introduce to you my week 11.
Apart from the Paris postage stamps (Oxford impressions) all other stamps are from de Stempelwinkel. I used a cuddlebug die for the stamp form and an old airmail envelope

I used dylusion ink sprays and a stencil for the ghosting technique. Stamped this really cool guy (100 proof press) and "decoloured" him with bleach.

The rest was stamped seperately and cut out (de stempelwinkel).
