By the way, the glass was made with my Sizzix die  bell jar, some packing (that might have even gone with that one) and alcohol inks.

Last Weekend I was in Bad Aibling, spending a complete Weekend with my crafty friends from Munich. And having seen the "running Journal" on YouTube we really had to give it a try (actually 3, but one was given away as a present).

You don´t know what that is? Each participant has 3-5 minutes for a single page, and then the next Person brings in her ideas to that page...in our case we were mostly 8-9 persons. So here´s what we did - art by 9 one a single page

 

 

 

Sounds like fun? It was !!!!

I needed a really happy page with all the unhappy stuff going on in my life right now, so I made some houses (love to do that) and used some left-over scrap from a children book. I guess it would be fun to live in that neighbourhood.

One of my gelli experiments went totally wrong, but with some pink acrylic colours I think it made nevertheless a cool Background....
And with J as in jewel I thought hey, Diamonds are great jewels and who does not remember that very popular song about "Diamonds are a girl´s best friend"...

journaling page with the letter P

My daugher is a very giving person - which is great, don´t get me wrong - but concerning her viruses and illnesses I´d rather be not given anything.
So this morning due to a lot of caughing and sneezing I got up at 4 am, and finished this journaling page and a lot more stuff. It´s incredible what you can get done at this hour. Quite and special moments that let creativity flow

 

Just in case you are wondering: I used a face stencil and pan pastels for my first try.

 

Stamps I used are from art journey and Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz.
